Hi all, I am new to this forum, came here for a help in deciding between Emotiva BasX S12 and S10. My use is 80% Music 20% Movies, Denon AVR1611, Wharfedale Diamond 230 as fronts and my living room size is 14L x 22W x 10H with few openings. Members please suggest me which one to buy. Apart from Power & Driver size, is there any audible difference between these two? Experts please come in...

I'm no expert but considering the size of your room and that you have openings to other areas, I'd suggest the S12. It'll go the distance that much more for just a little bit more coin.

^^^^+1^^^^ Also a bigger sub you can turn down resulting in less distortion than having a smaller sub turned up high causing distortion.

Will there be any noticeable audible difference between these two?

Will there be any noticeable audible difference between these two? At whisper to talking levels, probably not; at high/reference volumes, probably.
