I remember about a year or so ago there was talk about newer, higher output amp modules being developed and coming out soon. They were to be offered to existing XPA Gen3 owners at an addition charge, but replacement and PS upgrade would be included. That was the original idea anyway. I see now that they have being released in DR Amps and I am wondering if the upgrade for existing consumers is still an option. Any news on this would be wonderful.

You would need to call Emotiva about this since the power supply for the DR modules is different from the "regular" XPA supply. I'm not sure it would be very cost effective if replacing the power supply is required?

I'm afraid that it didn't work out that way. roadwar is right. By the time Emotiva worked out all of their power supply problems, they ended up with a totally different configuration. You can't put double wide modules in a regular chassis, or regular modules in the double wide chassis. They tried, but...
