It's much harder for me to pick out a favorite from Tom Petty.

My favorite GFR is I'm Your Captain/Closer To Home Mine's "Sin's a Good Man's Brother" with 'Mean Mistreater' and 'Aimless Lady' a close second. They had so many good songs. It's a trip looking at some of the 70's footage and seeing the clothes, hair, etc.Great tunes, style,eh,not so much. I was just poking around and saw a picture of GFR Survival and had a flashback to the poster of that I had way back when.Ah,memories.

A complete original. No one sounded like them before, during, or after. Even to this day they stand truly unique. Here's one of my favorites. How this one always manages to slide under the radar of the masses I'll never know.

I remember when Wolfgang's Vault started and I heard these guys live I was blown away. They are a mostly forgotten about classic band. Everyone knows 3 or 4 songs, but it's the other one's that people don't know that are awesome. I can honestly say I wish I knew more of them and about them. Just never had the time.

Unfortunately, Aerosmith holds 2 titles: One of rocks all time greatest bands, and one of rocks biggest pathetic sell out bands of all time. Anything after "Done With Mirrors" is pure corporate formula crock pot rock. No thanks.
