They had so many good songs.It's a trip looking at some of the 70's footage and seeing the clothes,hair,etc.Great tunes,style,eh,not so much. I was just poking around and saw a picture of GFR Survival and had a flashback to the poster of that I had way back when.Ah,memories. Sadly they haven't made it into the Rock Hall of Fame. BUT they're in mine.

Sadly they haven't made it into the Rock Hall of Fame. BUT they're in mine. I went to High School with Joe, Mark Farner's son. He sang himself in several Detroit area bands. Hyperformance, D.C. Drive, and General Clusterfunk. Here he is more recently.

And oh wow, looks like he's finally reunited with and taken his dad's name.
When I knew him he was Joe Hamandy. Then he switched to Joey Boen. Looks like he's now going by Joey Farner.
Just glad to see he's out there jamming. An American rocker.
