On the back of these units there are two speaker leads. Which one do you use for a single speaker (Left or Right one)?
Also, is the second connection for bi-wiring?
Is there any use for this way of connecting a single speaker that does not have bi-wiring connections on the back of the speakers?

You can use either side. If you open the amp (I have own 4 of these amps) you can see that the terminals are just connected.

Not saying there would be any benefit but...you could I essentially run two positive wires from the back of the upa1 into one positive speaker terminal on the back of the speaker and two wires from the back of the upa1 into one negative speaker terminal?
