Found a set of these for sale locally. A guy is selling these along with a matching center channel for 200 bucks. He says they are in excellent condition.
I'm building a 2 channel setup for my bedroom and gonna pair these with Kenwood Basic M2A amp (220 wpc) and matching Basic C2 preamp with EMO CD100.
I've read these speakers are excellent. Don't need the center channel speaker.
What are you guys opinions of these speakers , considering a price of 150 to 200?
(Btw.... Would anyone need a center channel Klipsch for cheap? 50 bucks?
I would be interested in letting those go if I get the speakers)

When I first started with Klipsch speakers I had a pair of RF-62iis. They were very good speakers in MHO. I did soon get the update bug and went to RF-82iis and then the RF-7iis. The RF-7iis are in a class of their own compared to the other two sets, but of course cost a lot more. I also had at RC-62ii center I think or maybe it was the 52ii, I do not remember. Anyway for the price you are talking I think you are stealing these speakers. Buy them and if you don't like them you should be able to sell on EBay for more than you paid.

Very true, I first purchaseda set of RF-62 II’s and a RC-62 II and a sub SW-110 i spent 1K new from the dealer. This was when they were first released.Really good sound for a newer HT and two channel. Enjoyed them a lot. Still use them. Added 280 towers but eventually fell in love with my Paradigm Studio 100’s they’ve only gotten better with time.

So today I ended up buying the speakers.. Two Klipsch RF-62 II and a center channel RC-52 II.. 200.00 They were in such nice shape, I didnt try to barter or buy without the center channel speaker (I dont need it). So took it all. The owner was an older lady and she didnt need them in her new house. They were bought at the local audio video store here in town (2014).. and I swear they look brand now. Not a single mark on them. So, I think I did pretty good for my first speakers since 1987 (Bose 501). My Kenwood Basic M2A amp and Kenwood preamp Basic C2, should provide what they need. EMo CD-100 is on the way.. by next weekend Ill be listening to music again. Would anyone be interested in the center channel speaker? I'll probably post it on the marketplace next week

Looks like you got a great deal. You should be able to sell the center speaker.

That is a smokin’ deal, and a great intro to Klipsch.
Try not to get hooked too hard!

BUT, you will never be done and once you start in on a new speaker brand, it's all over. upgrade, change, upgrade, change, blah blah blah!!!! I know from personal experience with Klipsch..... But wow what a great sound experience!!

I currently have my RP-280s up for sale, using my Fortes (w/Crites upgrades) for both music and movies and thinking about RF-7iis or iiis. How in the world did I ever get here???!!! There are several owners of the RF-7 ii that have bought iii's and feel they are a much nicer sounding speaker than the ii's. Adorama has several RF-7 ii listed in their used section with varying degrees of use. One is merely open box, another only missing the carpet spikes. Selling for mid $500's each which is a great deal if indeed you are leaning towards the ii's.
