Hi all.
Newbie question about the Mode settings. I don't want the MC-700 doing any unnecessary processing of the audio signal it is receiving from the source, with the exception of bass management. From other threads I see that Direct Mode does not have bass management. Is it the case if I want no additional processing, but do want bass management, that I have to select the corresponding mode for each audio type that might be input to the MC-700. For example do I go into the Mode settings menu and for a TrueHD signal select TrueHD Mode, likewise for Dolby Digital (Dolby Digital Mode) and DTS (DTS Mode) etc, rather than "Last Used" which seems to be the default.
Appreciate your advice.
Thanks.
Allan

All processing modes other than direct will follow the base management (follow the settings of the selected EQ). If you want no base management and want to use any of the decoded modes, you will have to set the EQ to a manual mode that is FLAT. If you want 2.1 sound for audio (including the subwoofer) you will have to select the doublebass feature to enable LFE. Hope this helps. For me, the use of the room correction in Stereo mode produced the most depth and image to the sound for pure music listening.
