I'd also like y'all's opinions.
The potential negative would be that the high frequencies would be rolled off, but with a subwoofer cable, who cares! The other potential issue is that the subwoofer gain would need to be increased to compensate for the higher impedance - again, not a significant issue.
The positive of using 75 ohm subwoofer feeds is that the paralleled impedance of the power amp's inputs and the subs' plate amp inputs won't be as low as it would be without those 75 ohm interconnects. Of course, this is ONLY an issue if the source component is directly driving the power amp & subs. With an active preamp in-between, the preamp's buffer stage makes the combined destination impedance mostly academic.
At least, that's my theory. What say you?

No benefit to this but you could use it, just don’t want to do the reverse and use an rca sub. Cable in place of digital coaxial for digital audio without measuring. Some of those measure 75ohm. Without intention. Bill
