Will a Emotiva "Remote 2" work on an USP-1 preamp?

Not sure which remote the "Remote 2" is.  I have the USP-1 preamp and have two remotes that work with it.

I can get a replacement metal remote from Emotiva for my USP-1, but it's $56. This Remote 2 I can get for $30. Just trying to save a few bucks.

Thanks for the photo. Sorry do not recognize that particular remote. Perhaps Emotiva tech support can give you an answer?

That's the remote that came with the MMC-1 processor. Wouldn't know if it would work with the USP-1 though.

Get a Harmony remote - it'll work with the USP-1. I've owned several USP-1's over the years and they all worked fine with the Harmony remotes. A used Harmony 650 shouldn't cost much more than that Remote 2 you're looking at - and it will work. Not sure about the remote 2. Like LC mentioned - its for the MMC-1. Will it work with the USP-1? Maybe. Will the Harmony 650 work with the USP-1? I'd bet on it!

Thanks for the info. I couldn't find the model that remote was for. Hopefully it will work. I'll have to get a hold a Emotiva support. I was hoping someone on here would know.

Just in case anyone else is researching this topic. Emotiva service finally got back to me. The Remote 2 doesn't use any of the current codes, so it only works with the MMC-1.
