All polls are flawed so this is just for fun.
What are your plans, if any?

I have a 103 and 203 and love them. I am keeping both for the long haul, as heart-broken as I am about this unexpected fold up. So sad, because Oppo had become one of the strongest embodiments of rock solid reliability in my A/V world

Even though it's an orphan (and an ugly-sounding one at that), it's bought and paid for. For video, it's still top of everything else on the market (not speaking video quality, but rather the variety of files that it will play). For audio, its digital outputs make it a "pass-through streamer" to the DAC of my choice. It supports DLNA over Ethernet (most don't), and it can be tricked out to get garbage via Bluetooth as well. It's probably more durable than anything else on the equipment rack. I'm leaving well-enough alone!

I have a BDP-93 modded for multi region that is not going anywhere. If I can swing a UDP-203 before they are gone I'd like to do so.

Some day one of my two BDP-103's will become the donor unit.

I selected #1, “I don't have an Oppo and have no plans to purchase”
But, I did own a 103 and purchased a Samsung 4K player before the Oppo was available. After selling the 103 I don’t plan on purchasing another redundant player. Ive owned a Samsung top of the line player for 7 years now and hasn’t failed me. Ill keep the 1080 and 4K players till they die and make a decision then. Good luck to all with their Oppos, built like tanks and dependable but not for me anymore.

I too had a 103 and have to say even though I have a 4K Sony. Another player is a no. Regretfully that includes Oppo. Did love the 103 though.

_____'s tariffs on chinese electronics may kill the feasibility of getting one at the present price. Due to the fact that I have a perfectly working plasma tv, and don't plan to replace it till it dies, I'll pass on a new Oppo until I do, By then HDMI 2.1 will be out.

I'd been saving up to buy my first OPPO. But a few months ago, I realized I hadn't spun a disk (except vinyl ones) in a couple of years. For me, a disk player is obsolete (but yes, my computer has one for ripping), so I abandoned plans to buy an OPPO.
Sincerely /b

Keeping the 203. Hoping for regular firmware updates. When it’s time to buy a new player, if physical discs are still a thing, I’ll buy the best reviewed/available. In the meantime I am hearing that Oppo is being inundated with orders for their players. Suggest if you want one, to decide quickly.

I'm a value shopper. If they offer close out pricing at some point, I will probably grab a 4k player.

Keeping my BD93 until it dies. It is already a legacy product.

My UDP-203 will be with me until it no longer serves its purpose. Then, I'm sure it will find an owner who can appreciate it as much as I do. My history with Oppo is long, and every product that I've purchased from them still works flawlessly. My original purchase was a DV-971. It went along with my ex-wife, but it still works. My BDP-83 and BDP-93 went to my sons and my BDP-103 is neatly packed away in my closet keeping my XMC-1 company. Quality, superior support and product longevity is why "I" paid the higher prices for Oppo products and is why I will sorely miss them down the road. I will be ordering another 203 to replace my X800 and have no problem doing so... EDIT: I did get another UDP-203 to replace my Sony X800. I'm good for awhile...

Honestly, my first Blu-ray player was not an Oppo (and I won't mention names to avoid all of the resulting drama), but it quickly went out of service due to the manufacturer not wanting to support it once a newer model came along. So, I bought my BDP-83 and never looked back...

cross post from the other thread:
i just read this from an oppo vendor:
Oppo is out of 205's and have 1,000 203's left. Oppo said at the current rate, the 203's will not last through the weekend. Oppo said they have sold more 203's in the last two days than they sold for the month of march.

Now I'm eager to see if the 205's start appearing on eBay and other marketplaces for wicked premiums.

I had an Oppo BDP-93 that I sold recently on Audiogon for almost half of what I paid for it in 2011. Happy with that.
Took some the money and bought a Philips 4k player that does HDR and Dolby Vision. Will use it very movies 99.9% and a CD once every blue moon.
My music listening is from a hard drive and online these days.
Figure this may be my last physical media movie device since streaming is taking over.
