I succumbed to panic and bought a 203 to replace my 103 and installed the 203 last night. I also have a Samsung K8500 in my HT system in addition. I would have removed the Samsung except that it has a very nice streaming features and the 203 is sparse on streaming. All of my HT stuff is in a deep tall bookcase with cutouts in the back, but even so, getting behind to change wiring is a real bear. My AV pre-pro is a Marantz AV7702 which is not HDMI 2.2 compliant, so I have three HD Fury devices in the system to get both my 4k 65" Samsung TV and my 2k Sony projector to receive all source material (two UHD players, laser player, HDmedial player, directtv, and FireTV). I do not use the analog outputs of the OPPO because of the additional wiring nightmare that would be. I'm thinking where is the new Emotiva RMC-1 which would totally simplify things for me and I would remove all the HD Fury devices. I have dreams of such simplicity. My job today is to re-edit all of my Harmony activities and make sure they work with Alexa commands. Arggh!

I Purchased one through them at the end of June when they had their first release of them. Don't regret it a bit. Sold my 105D for 50% of what I paid for it 4 years ago. Awesome machines!

Oppo WAS an option for me, but I'm very reluctant to invest in orphaned hardware. The Sony UBP-X1000ES seems to be a good option or even the Xbox X might be a contender.

I now use my Oppo UDP-205 as a video disc player only. All other functions have been switched to other components.
Previously, I used my old BDP-105 as a video disc player, music streamer, DAC, and system "hub." The 205 isn't that good.
