XPA-1's now going for more than I paid for my own, brand new, if they are getting those prices on EBAY.. Also thought about buying multiple processor rebate cards as a away to invest in this company, but didn't do it. Shame I,bought mine for 250 and used it.

It's not just XPA-1's, it is most Emotiva amps across the board. I recently watched a ten year old LPA-1 amp sell for over $500 plus $60 for shipping. Original MSRP was $499, not counting if they were bought on sale. I've sat back and watched many of the Gen 1 and 2 amps sell for more than retail regardless of warranty or factory boxes. I figure the handful of Emotiva amps are now a solid investment. I hope Emotiva keeps raising the prices on the Gen 3, as it makes the previous models that much more enticing! Tim

Yes it us true. Rising costs, overhead, and other factors increase the price of making electronics. Other things too for that matter. Emotiva products have a following that is amazing. Allot of the amps are great and future classic buys. They sound great, and even in today's world still represent allot of value for money. Now you just have more choices. Choices and options are always good.
