I have a pair of Airmotiv 4s powered speakers that I used for my computer I have since bought a pair of 5s and planned on using the 4s as a small stereo setup, originally going to buy a PT-100 and use them as kitchen speakers for when I make breakfast, but then I got the idea I might sell them and buy a TA-100 instead with the built in Amp and get a pair of B1s, kinda made more sense because I would f have to have 3x power cables and the B1s are a little bigger but curious about performance between the two? I have very little experience with loudspeakers mostly with powered monitors

The advantage of the 4s is that it is actively bi amped. So its amps are made especially for the woofer and the tweeter. I think at best it would be a lateral move.

I have had the 4s and I now have the b1's. go with the b1's. bigger sound and more bottom end. mid to upper highs pretty much the same. I love my ta-100. bought it at emofest just to buy something. btw........ using it in place of my XMC-1 since I sold it to get the RMC-1 or XMC-1 gen 3, whichever I can afford. tchaik..............
