Been trying to purchase a XMC for months...Patiently waiting. Anyone know when either the XMC or RMC will be available?

The day after tomorrow is my best guess. I reserve the right to change my answer tomorrow. Seriously though, it should be soon. I think it is talked about in their last podcast.

My guess on the XMC is that they need to produce a boatload of the Version 3 HDMI board. The issue is the distribution order of those boards is probably: 1- those that ordered, paid, and received, their XMC with the promise of the new board; 2 - anyone who was able to order and pay for just the board; 3. Then the orders can be taken for new XMCs. My guess is that happens end of April beginning of March. Check out this post: Big Dan - New Boards being assembled. |

That would be a little over 3 weeks. The problem is what date to use as zero time. |

Apologies...meant to post this under the processors thread. XMC's should be available in early May. Once they have enough of the V3 HDMI boards to put in them (vs. external demand), they'll start selling the XMC's again. RMC - the original humorous replies above still apply to the RMC... |

Last September during Emofest a guy won an RMC-1, I would have gone bonkers by now or driven the peeps at Emotiva bonkers with phone calls haha, Imagine winning an RMC-1 and waiting to get it ahhhhhhhhhhh  |
