Fixed that for you, it was redundant Sometimes redundancy is needed to drive the point home though. Lol. I could have said every comment I make as well. As I don’t think I’ve ever made a post that wasn’t at least a little tongue in cheek.

What makes you think I didnt call Emotiva? Tuff room here. You never said, but OK 👌... I’ll assume now you did. Believe me, I know about waiting on the XMC1. I’m one of the earliest adopters, getting my unit (with no Dirac or microphone) in October of 2014. Even the owners manual was a “preliminary version”. I decided on the XMC around 2011 and at the time it was a first generation unit just off the drawing board, so to speak. Then changes were made and the unit morphed into “GEN2” in all black. Before I bought the processor, I purchased a 40 percent off card on EBAY.......and waited And......waited. I was in trouble.....my processor was malfunctioning and too old and outdated to have it serviced. Out of desperation, I opened her up and found loose ribbon connectors, and contamination in the input selector switch, DEOXIT saved the day. Hang in there my friend you’ll get it and you’ll LOVE 💕 it! PS.....am I a smartass....? YOU BET! Bill
