along with the entire BasX product lineup have become huge sellers. They are definitely NOT being discontinued! Case in point of why your comments get you in trouble and cause rifts on this forum. You say this, then just a short time later 2 of the BasX products go on final close out sale. You wonder why people lose confidence or just flat out don't believe what you have to say. If you and the blue kool aiders don't understand us Bonzomites with such clear proof as this situation, then well, I guess you will never get it.

We are closing out the BasX Sat and the BasX LCR speakers. The PT-100, TA-100, MC-700, and the BasX amps have all been very popular. The BasX Subwoofer line has also been quite popular. (And we have no plans to discontinue any of those.) However, the BasX speaker line hasn't been especially popular - so we're closing them out. (You can get a real good deal there if you need a pair or set of small speakers.) If you go to the speaker product listings on the website you will see those two marked for closeout. I got an email this morning from Emotiva with the subject line 'Speaker Closeout Sale'. Anyone know what's up with that? I went to their website - nothing about speaker closeout sales.

That email had no link and no explanation of what speakers were on closeout. Great price on those speakers, but I'm flush with speakers. Seems that's the one thing I'm never short of.

To go back to the original topic, I notice that the Emo website still shows the PT-100 as "sold out" in spite of Dan's good words. It shouldn't take the webmaster more then one hour to get this corrected. J-J

Also looking for a REAL answer to the bigger picture problem that is so obvious here, rather than your simple factual post. Its simply undeniable (and its come to be a real Emotiva public realtions issue that continues to hurt you). Hence why your simple, truthful, factual reply comes across as spin doctoring. No one on this forum WANTS Emotiva to fail. I know I don't. You guys just need to hire someone (or someone better) to handle consumer, forum, and public information better, MUCH better. You guys make some great products, but your public persona is going down the tubes. What you built so hard to get is fading away. You have a real problem. Maybe just one man's opinion, but I don't think so.

I am lost too. I thought the PT-100 was out of stock. Oh well. It wouldn't be the first time I missed something.

Dan confirmed that the PT-100 is temporarily out of stock, not sold out. It should be a matter of a few weeks. As simple as that. This being said, I understand the frustration of some members, because Emo seems to ditch its products fairly often (BasX loudspeakers recently), and without notice. So, if I buy a PT-100 when it becomes available again, how long will it be supported? Also, what happens after the warranty expires? How long will spare parts be available? Emo aren't MacIntosh, but should look in that direction when it comes to customer support. J-J

But it has mostly to due with my post above to Dan, and also the timing ruckus that is the RMC-1, XMC-1 Gen 3, and the XMC-1 Gen 2 Atmos upgrade. I've said my peace and am going to try and shut it for a while. I'm sure many think I'm just a broken record and I might have to agree with them. So while I can't make any promises, I'm going to try to not be so vocal. If you didn't get what I was talking about, just ignore me and go back to your normal channel. It was just one man's opinion that doesn't really matter much. Although my post to Dan above does have 5 likes, so I'm not completely alone.

Looks like just the BasX Satellite and center speakers are going bye bye. Yes they are. 👋Heads up.... There are just 3 BasX SAT speakers remaining. After we're out, that's it! We still have a few of the LCRs left, but we are down to the final 3 with the SAT.

I have to say I have no regrets in buying a TA-100 and then later using it for a pre amp. So if you can afford a bit more get the TA-100. As an amp it worked really good. At 50 wpc (I thought it wouldn't be enough) it is very capable of upsetting my neighbors. I figure if down the road I upgrade it will make a nice amp in one of the other rooms of the house. No love loss what so ever.

The products page indicates that the PT-100 is sold out. Is this a temporary situation, or have Emo completely ditched the product? And if so, what is the alternative? J-J Just picked one up on Amazon.
