Hello After a long wait, I have Dr1 at my place (the first couple in Poland . I have had them for a week and I wanted to spend some time with them to give my opinion. Now I am ready to say that these are the best amplifiers I have had the opportunity to listen to in my system. I agree 100% with <regularaudiophile> opinion from another thread; emotivalounge.proboards.com/thread/52076/review-first-time-emotiva-owner?page=1As the owner of the XPR1 and XPA-1gen1 / 2 Models, I fully argue that they are the most revealing amplifiers. The biggest improvement is in the detail and resolution of the sound - I have the impression of dropping some curtains, masks from the speakers. Everything is clearer, more pleasant to listen to, as if the songs have been re-recorded in better resolution - the music has become more live, especially noticeable improvement is in vocals, acoustic instruments (guitar, drums, cymbals). Recently I replaced Xpr1 with the Mcintosh mc452 amplifier and I was very pleased, but the new DR1 do an even better job - the main difference is in better control and bass quality. I recently had a plan to buy mc601 monoblocks, but now I do not need them anymore. My loudspeakers Jamo 909 are very hungry for the power and quality of amplifiers. Over the years I've been looking for the right amplifiers for them and I'm not hiding that I tried many brands. After a few days, even my wife said that the Dr1 are playing the best. Yesterday I sold mc 452, and for the money I saved, I decided to buy an exotic holiday for the family From the very beginning I had a lot of doubts whether these new amplifiers would satify me. Now, when I have them, I'm very impressed - I discover music again. On this occasion I want to thank the whole EMOTIVA team for the excellent product and I hope for the next 'game changers' ..... I am waiting for XSP gen 3 now and maybe the new Dac gen3 with streaming

This is my oasis of peace and relaxation In Poland there is also no DR on the official website of the Soundclub distributor, as they are waiting for a bigger delivery. Thanks to the kindness and probably my stubbornness, the distributor has downloaded the first Dr1 pair faster for me . From what I see on the internet DR are available in France and Denmark. Returning to the opinion, I want to emphasize that I did not expect such a good sound. I am very pleasantly surprised and can not yet understand what causes such an improvement. For me, but also my wife and a few friends, I liked the sound of the Mc52 from DR1 rather than the MC452. I recently had a tube C2500 (also with XPR1), but I lacked control in bass and openness in high tones. Now I am very tempted to make a trial with the newer pre C2600. I would like Emotiva to make a new pre gen3, because I believe that they are able to do really good sounding equipment Å serious room you got there mack :-) And you gave me comparison with xpr,xpa and McIntosh!
