A while back I posted to the lounge requesting assistants setting up my XMC-1.
I'm legally blind and didn't feel I could navigate the set up and Dirac room equalization.
Whit contacted me and offered to help me out. He came to my house twice and spent hours setting up the XMC-1 and performing room equalization. The results are fantastic!
I'm so thankful that Whit was willing to help me. It's nice to know their kind and caring people in the world! Kudos!
Sincerely,
Keith McIntyre

Great to hear these stories arise from the heap of otherwise anonymous forums. I too have found many kind and generous folks on these boards, some of which have become long time friends. Scott

Did you pay him in beer or wine as he requested? Good to hear that you're glad to hear his efforts.

Did you pay him in beer or wine as he requested? Good to hear that you're glad to hear his efforts. That was me that suggested payment in beer or wine. By the time I saw the thread and emailed Keith, Whit had beat me to the punch. I'm really glad it worked out, and hopefully Keith held onto my email address in case he needs anything else in the future, and Whit isn't available.
