Ok. Hi . How are u . I got a question on amplifing the sound output from my Android phone. I want to get more / louder in put to my BASX A100. OK. I've used CD/DVD as input. Worked ok. Used old iPod worked ok. Used old/old cassette player ,worked OK!. WELL not that great but... Ok so now when I use this phone volume is softer. Which kinda amp would u suggest . I looked at some of inet . U Kno the better the course the better the output. I hope I can find your answer cause I need more vol. From utube .thankx. ps Bassnectar &the glitch mob. Parracosm. There's a song for U. Could I use record mode on cassette as amp?

Are you using the headphones analogue output? For achieving maximum volume the A100 needs around 2 volts input. Commonly the headphones output will be less than 1 volt, so not enough to drive the A100 to enough volume. The DAC's used in phones are typically not very good for sound quality so you could kill 2 birds with one stone and get a mini DAC that will take the inputs from your phone and output a pre amplified signal strong enough for the A100.

Thanks for the help!. Any particular DAC that u can recommend ? Not TOO spenzive.
