Hey everyone, I wanted to make everyone aware that we are closing out the last batch of our XPA-1 Gen2 Monoblock class A/AB amps. They are 20% off until they sell out. I wanted to make everyone here aware first before the email blast goes out this afternoon. These last ones should go very quickly and when they are gone they are gone for good. emotiva.com/products/xpa-1-gen2

We are opening up the next batch, with a discount to anyone who wants to secure one. Some are already reserved. We have a very limited quantity, and we think they'll go fast!

For those of you old schoolers that love mono block design with the toroidal power supplies and just happen to be full differentially balanced, you wonβt find a better sounding deal anywhere, especially with a warranty. Jump on these quick as I bet this last container load goes really fast.

Emotiva certainly has a strange way of describing time. We all know what a few short weeks or around the corner means. Months if not years. But on this unit, they said it would be around a good long while because its their corner stone amp. Now about a year or so after saying that, bye bye. How nice.
The only positive thing I can say is at least they are consistently always very wrong about their product timing statements. Consistency is a good quality. π

Seems that they are always engineering and making new products that don't get to the marketplace for years. After they do go on sale they only last a short time before Emotiva gets tired of them and moves on to a new "improved" product,

I think they are trying to move everything except the Basx line to the US. Not a bad thing

Well the XPA-1 gen 2 is the best amp I have ever heard. It has absolutely no downside and is chock full of upsides. It's a no compromise component that is aimed squarely at the high end. If you buy a pair, you are buying something amazing. I honestly can't believe they are getting rid of their champ. If it was a few more years, I would have purchased another pair for quad monoblocks.

It's all about profits. If they can't make money selling them they get discontinued. They may be the best amp ever made but if they don't sell enough then they get dropped. Maybe they are working on something else to take it's place, too. Like a U.S. made version.

If they can swing an XPA-1 gen 2 made in the US with everything intact (class A, torroid, capacitance, fully balanced) then I'm all for it!

I've owned both the Gen 1 and Gen 2 and I preferred the Gen 1 by a considerable margin....but the XPA-1 Gen 2 is the best amp in the Emotiva current line up and after this one is gone I see nothing else of interest. Sad...

I love my XPA-1 Gen 1's - and I wouldn't mind having a set of these also....not sure I can swing that cost right now. Sad to see them discontinuing them.
