Hey gang, new to the forum. My first emotiva purchase was the sale on the xpa1 mono blocks. Will driving klipsch rf7iis. Looking for advice on set up or any preparation needed. An Onk yo rz810 will be the preamp for the time being until I find a replacement I like.

Welcome to the lounge. You will love the Emotiva products. I did order me a pair for my RF-7III's too.
Having tried many of their products, you will be very satisfied with your choice.

Just got confirmation that the lead time on my xpa1's will indeed be 6 weeks out. Ouch.

Welcome to the lounge...you will enjoy the XPA-1's. They are amazing amps. FYI, the delay is not typical - normally Emotiva keeps things well stocked, but from what I read - this is the very last batch of XPA-1's and are on the way here from China. All the others were sold out already.

Got them installed last Tuesday. All I can say is... Wow. These things are by far the best component I have ever owned short of my rf7ii. My only regret is not having the scratch for a third one for my center channel. My onkyo 810 just doesn't give it what it needs and it's painfully obvious.

You should consider the Emotiva XSP-1 G2. You get a lot for your $$$ and it makes amps sound even better.
