Hi,
I am having a connnectivity issue with my processor. I cannot get an image to pass through a 50 ft hdmi 2.0 cable. I have tested the cable between an oppo Blu-ray player to tv and it worked like a charm. When I plug the tv into the processor (via the cable) and the player into the processor, I get nothing, I should note that I get the processor dialogue box and menu box, but not the Blu-ray image. This unit is running 3.1 few and it’s not a 2.0 UHD panel. I used the processor in another setup a couple years ago and have only now got around to using again, I did a factory reset already, just in case, and still nothing, any suggestions?
Thank you

50' is right at the limit for HDMI cables and with the other HDMI cable between Oppo and the processor you are now over 50' in total length. Plus the processor itself will soak up a bit of signal. There are a number of possible solutions, a better quality HDMI cable might just do it, or a signal amplifier or a HDMI over Single Cat6 Extender.
Cheers Gary

I’m with Gary on this one. Thats a tremendous distance to run an HDMI cable!

Well good news. Overnight the hdmi gods blessed me and now it works. Actually, based on the comment above, that noted the importance of the bluray to processor connection, I changed that hdmi cable and it worked! I would have been raging mad if it didn't, as the 50'cable was very expensive. Thank you eveyone!
