I'm fighting HDMI issues with UMC-200 & newest DTV Genie II (even DTV to Integra) Looking @ X HDMI cable, opinions pls. I don't believe in the magic cables bs, so need something that works without paying through the nose.

I think I have several left over. Tim

I know the Z-HDMI cables are certified "High Speed", but actually pass 4K chroma 4:4:4 so theoretically they could be certified as "Premium".

The X-HDMI cables are best when components are stacked vertically as they are of a ribbon type design. The Z-HDMI cables are quite flexible and work quite well when components are stacked or side by side.

Thanks to all for for your input. We're still using a Pioneer RP tv @ 1080i using DTV & Amazon Basics HDMI cables that are ?yrs old. Don't plan to replace the tv until we move. I don't want to drill holes in the wood paneling for wall mount. I just need something 4' to 6'. Strange, we don't have any issue with DTV to Vizio E40C2 (1080p) bedroom or to Samsung (720p) in my office using same cheap cables. Both set-ups have no receiver, Pre/pro between.

Take the cables from the room that is working and swap them with the other room. See if the issue follows the cables or remains in the same room.
