I live in the states and currently power my xpa-2 with 120Vac. Was thinking about powering my amp with 230 volts but got confused when I noticed that the power input on the amp has just 2 legs. My understanding was that in order to get 230VAC, 2 hot lines and a ground were required which is 3 connections on the power cord. My question is, how does 230 volts work with just 2 legs?

In Australia we have 220/240 volts and I had no problem with an XPA-2 (or XPA-3, XPA-5, XPA1L's etc). One is active the other neutral, the missing 3rd is the earth/ground which isn't required to power the amp.
Cheers Gary
