Any difference in the UPA-500 and the A-500 amps. I can get a used UPA-500 for about $125 less than a new A-500. Is the 500 worth the extra $125?

The UPA-500 might not have as much warranty left. Other than that aren't they essentially the same amp?

Im not familiar with the sound of the A-500 but I do own the UPA-500. Its a wonderful amp with plenty of good solid power. I agree about the importance of warranty and the age of the UPA-500.
I won’t part with it.

According to Dan they aren't the same amp.
Imo having heard the UPA-500, the basx a-300, I think they sound similar. Not worth $125 for the difference imo.
