The Wi-Fi Alliance just announced the latest WPA3 standard which promises much better security.
Now hackers cannot repetitively keep guessing your Wi-Fi password.
Also, I like the idea of "Forward Security", which gives each authorized session its own encryption token. This means that anyone who guesses a Wi-Fi network password won't be able to see the data streams of other devices on the network.

Definitely not a subtle upgrade. The session token is compelling.
