I have a pair of Klipsch RF7 amped with a Emotiva XPA 2 for home theater use mainly. These speakers are 8 ohms and highly efficient. I'm considering changing over to the Emotiva T2 loudspeakers and and the center emotiva has all run them with XPA 3. The other 4 speakers are in wall rf series klipsch so I can run them with my existing Onkyo receiver. All of this will be controlled by the XMC 1 processor. Question..... are the T2 speakers going to be a good addition or am I wasting money.... RF 7 are pricey...? thanks

I have not heard the RF-7. I do have the RF-7 III's and enjoy them tremendously, powered by an XPA-2 Gen 3. I have heard the T-2's in the same setup, and they are really good speakers, but I prefer the klipsch sound. If your ears are used to the RF-7's then stick with them. The move maybe be a lateral one, most likely, but YMMV.
You can order a pair from Emotiva and audition the T-2's for 30 days. If you don't like how they sound in your setup, then return it and stick with the Klipschs, and if you do keep the T-2's, the RF-7 will sell quickly. Good luck

I also have the Klipsch RF-7II run by XPA-2 Gen 3 and really like what I am hearing. Please let use know what you think if you try out the Emotiva's and the comparison of what you hear. Best of luck in your quest for that perfect sound.
