PS Audio - Signature 250

Has anyone here ever heard PS Audio's Signature 250?

I am curious if anyone who knows about amplifier design can tell me why the price tag is so high. I watch Paul McGowan's youtube videos and he seems like a really honest and caring guy, Point being, I think the price of this amp is probably somewhat justified by what it costs to produce it. But what specifically makes an amp like this so pricey?

Beautiful case, high quality capacitors, resistors, innovative engineering design, active marketing, reputation and reliability. And sonics.

I think I remember watching one or two of the videos about the project and how it was a cost no object endeavor at PS Audio and obviously involved a third party designer, Bascom King.

It may seem inflated but when we compare an amp with similar specs from a company such as Boulder Audio with a price of $100,000+, PS Audio seems to still have a foot in reality.
