I found a MKV of a Dolby TrueHD Channel Check lossless, but it's not white noise. I'd like to check the through-put using white noise from a source as opposed to from the XMC-1. My suspicion is that there could be some channel levels variance introduced by different sources. This might just be the OCD talking because I have nothing to back it up, but to quote the Beatles: "you know I can't sleep, I can't stop my brain, you know it's three weeks, I'm goin' insane!"

All the trailers are 5.1, or 2.0. They're in SD, too. But if you buy/rent you get the full quality. Login to the VUDU website, go to a movie, scroll down to the very bottom and it shows you what the audio will be based on what version you buy/rent (SD/HDX/UHD). The X700 is on their list (https://forum.vudu.com/forum/vudu/general-discussion/49928-vudu-uhd-compatible-devices-list), but it is marked as "newly added", so did you make sure the player is fully updated? Excellent! Thanks! Yes, the player has the latest firmware. The Software Version is M43.R.0175.
