I was just......subjected to a high rez download of 24/192 blah blah woof woof. Marcus Miller. What a bunch of lightweight generic lame stale white bread. I give it alright as a recording but absolute trash as music. If that was the best HR has to offer you can count me out.

On a mobile device, I settle for 24bit/192kHz but, of course, it sounds just terrible.

My experience has been the same...I have several FREE hi-Rez downloads and I think "so what"
Also having TIDAL which I really enjoy, their MQA does nothing for me.
Anything I put into my system sounds awesome...no additives needed here.

A good recording, pre-amp,tubes and a dac does it all!...of yea and speakers...B&W speakers!
