Well actually I was being facetious as speaker choice is so subjective and to be asking what is the very best or absolute best has no answer. I got a new Mazda 3 Grand Touring model last year with all the bells and whistles, including a "premium" Bose sound system. It's horrible! Contrary to no highs no lows it must be Bose, mine sounds like it was equalized with an exaggerated happy face. Boomy bass and tizzy highs and muddy mids. I tried using the equalizer/tone controls but they can only do so much and it ain't enough.  Got the same model and trim last year too. I was not expecting much from the "premium" Bo$e system, but the biggest disappointment was the lack of EQ. Just "Bass" and "Treble" controls... I was hoping it would sound better than I had expected it to. And of course the salesman demoed it by turning it up much louder than necessary which only made things worse.  But being that I rarely listen to the radio in the car anyway, that wasn't a factor in purchasing the car. And I agree with your observation about might as well ask which woman to marry. Which speaker would win the Miss Speaker America contest. Or the Bachelorette Speaker competition. |

The reviews of the premium Murano audio also described it as “unremarkable”. I Just wanted those 20 inch wheels that look like they’re moving even when the thing is standing still, and the big sunroof. Going crazy with audio in the car is a wasted effort, in my opinion.
