Weird form factor. Actually ugly. It is short throw(well, shorter than most, but not a 8 to 10 incher). It looks good for portability. No 3D (this info may be wrong, because most .47 XPRs can handle 3D). Street price is $2999, which is about $1000 to $1500 more than some other .47 XPR chip projectors. Vulnerable on the floor to kids and dogs. Has a unique RGBYRGBY color wheel, which I think may be good. Has high lag, so not too good for gaming.

A color wheel is a rotating disc with segmented transparent color passthru windows. There are different ones - RGB, RGBRGB, RGBY, and now this one RGBYRGBY. The Y gives greater brightness at the sacrifice of color accuracy. The double segments reduce the RBE effects of DLP transmissions.

It is not Native 4K but it delivers the equivalent by shifting the micro mirrors and flashing them 4 times per frame. The result is pretty hard to tell from Native 4K.

Do I understand correctly that you need a portable projector? The LG, unlike other DLP projectors is very flexible as to placement. Floor, table, shelf, ceiling mount are all options with the LG. Now, if you can put a projector on a shelf behind your main viewing position you should also consider the JVC RS440. I have seen prices between $2900.00 and $3500.00. The JVC's picture quality is superior to the LG, but as is always the case with a projector, your room requirements will dictate the best choice.
