The blue light on my right Airmotiv 6s went out.
It had been flickering on again, off again, for a few weeks.
I'm trying to change the fuse by following the instructions on page 22.
But I don't understand how to prop up the fuse holder.
Can someone post a picture or video of how to do this?
It says to use a screwdriver, but I can't figure out how to release the fuse holder.
Changing the fuse will make the blue light on again, right?
I can still hear sound from the speaker.

Sounds like the LED died out, as long as the speaker works all should be okay, could cover the other one with a tiny piece of cut black electrical tape so they both don't have a visible light.

What's wrong with the light? I like it.
Is there a way to replace the LED?

Oh I just meant cover the other one up so as to not look uneven with one having a light and the other not haha, could prob be replaced but Emotiva may either need to supply the proper part# or send it to them which may be costly though just to replace and LED, if your handy I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard to replace, is it mounted to a board or just wired to the front ? I'm not sure how it's mounted. I guess I'll have to call them. Hopefully they can send a replacement.
I like how you have every audio device that you have, in your signature.
They look like this:

If you can still hear sound just fine from the speaker, it is not a fuse issue. Most likely a solder connection going bad due to thermal stress. It expands/contracts and then cracks. Causing an open circuit. This case an LED illumination. Is there any warranty left? I would also contact Emotiva support for the next steps.

It looks like a rear mount on the driver frame. Pull the driver and have a look.

I just checked the documentation, 5 year warranty. It's been 2 years plus a few days.
Their customer support is only open Monday - Friday, so have to wait until then. It looks like a rear mount on the driver frame. Pull the driver and have a look.
What do you mean by this?
Should I be looking at something on the back of the speakers?

Given it is under warranty, I would just call them. What davidr meant was to unfasten the driver from the cabinet and look at the backside of the ring on the driver. The LED appears to be mounted on the ring of the driver (or in the cabinet and precisely aligned with a hole in that ring. But, doing that may void your warranty, so just call them. Mark

I agree that if its still under warranty call them first.

I called Emotiva.
To do the repair, I have to send the speaker back.
The repair is free since it's under warranty.
If it was out of warranty, it would have cost their flat fee of $140 for the repair. The representative suggested that at that point, I take it to an electronics shop to repair the LED, as that would likely be cheaper.
Normally I would have to pay for shipping. But they made a special exemption where they are providing the shipping. I asked for a guess as to how much shipping was going to be, when they first said I had to pay for shipping. They started to look up a ballpark number, and then just decided to give me this exemption.
Given the weight of the item, I wouldn't be surprised if shipping would have been $20 - $30 at least.
I also asked how long the LEDs are supposed to last. I didn't get a direct answer, they just said sometimes they see them go out quicker than expected.
I said I liked the product, but was hoping I wouldn't have to start having maintenance issues with it.
I had used my previous speakers for 17 years, with no issues. Just near the end, something must have gotten loose and the subwoofer started rattling.
It's too bad the LED isn't something that can be repaired easily by an end user. Even if that is a maintenance issue, it's still easier if it's something I can fix without having to send it in.
I have to give them credit for their support so far, though. Let's just hope that I don't need to call their support that often.

Any tips for packing?
I have a a roll of bubble wrap. Not sure if I have a box that big right now, I'll have to check at home.

I know that with their amplifiers they state it must be returned in the original box.
Double box it if possible.

I don't have the original box, as I purchased it 2 years ago.

They may want you to buy a OEM box from them, I know there returns state must be shipped in OEM packaging, I think because too many things have shown up damaged in the past.

You were right.
They said it must be shipped in Emotiva packaging. I just got the email that says so.
I'll call them back and request they send it.
And this time, after they return my speaker, I'll save the packaging.
The email says they will charge a "nominal fee" for the packaging. Let's see what that is.

I never thought I'd need the original box again. Now I know.

I called Emotiva. One box is $35 + $8 for shipping.
Let me see if I have something close to the original box size. Otherwise, I'll go ahead and buy it from them. That was a lot more expensive than I thought it would be.
