What single accessory or do-dad would you not like to do without. For me there is an assortment but if I have to pick one Iād have to say my 115 Fluke Multimeter Two channel tubes rule! how to take a screenshot on a pc

Hmm, well I wouldn't call it an audio do-dad but I do like my trusty model 85 Fluke, especially useful for Xover building because of its capacitance meter. Great minds! Right on Brotha!

The Legacy Wavelet DSP, no contest. I've heard it on several different speakers and it was incredible at getting them to sound incredibly accurate and musical. Scott

My Apple Airport Express. Streaming audio has NEVER been easier or more convenient.

Another vote for Fluke. I've had mind since '85 or so. I think it's on the third battery.

I think this may not qualify but I consider it essential. It makes lossy streams sound so much better to my ears. Amarra sQ+

Love that Tascam recorders. I have the slightly bulkier Tascam DR 70

There is more in common under the hood of these than different. I just needed a smaller run and gun solution. Otherwise very could have picked the DR-70. The mount system is choice too.

The only genuine audio do-dad that I own and will never again do without are my music streamers. I love having all my music on a single server and being able to access anything and everything from anywhere in the house to three different music systems. As someone who grew up with vinyl then open reel then cassettes then CDs, I find the joy of random access to be indispensable.

'Favorite Audio Do-Dad'
That would be a remote, or in my case, many remotes. Since a remote isn't an absolutely must have to run most audio setups I think the remote could be considered a 'do-dad', which I interpreted as not absolutely necessary to run the audio rig. Convenient? Yes, no argument there!

Convenient? Yes, no argument there! For me, hands down, my universal remote is the most critical do-dad I have for home theater. But I don't use a remote for any of my music systems except for my phone or iPad to control Roon, and that's only for content selection.
