It looks a lot like a prototype they had at a prior Emofest. Last word was that they'd discontinued that project.

Great, another big step backwards for we, as Emotiva customers...if it is. Why are they concentrating on products that already saturate the market? Class D amps, now a TT. What next headphones, seems to be the logical choice of venturing into another overly saturated market. How about putting a new upper line of amps together and build them upon the platform that built the company. Big, powerful, quality amps that 90% of us would at least be interested in

That looks like the prototype that Dan had talked about. Looks a lot like the Marantz TT that is built by Clearaudio in Germany ( who Dan admitted built them a prototype). I would be surprised if this was a new thing.

Seems they’ve given lots of choice on the A/B amps with the Gen 3, I’d like to see an expandable Class D version. I don’t know the percentages, maybe we need another poll. ☑️ |
