Hi all, is it a big difference by bringing them a feet or two out?

Most definitely! I’ve always heard an improvement in SQ when doing so.

Hi all, is it a big difference by bringing them a feet or two out? The difference can be huge, whether that’s a good thing or not is an individual case for the loudspeaker design and the room involved. In my case, the mains are specifically designed to be up against the wall, but at least 3 feet away from a corner, to work as intended with reflective boundaries. The center channel is forward however, one foot and the front edge flush with the end of the shelf as not to interact with it. Bill

Will as soon as I can find where to put them, and if it works for me I will have to make my own stands, I made one for the center but didn't use it....

My issue might be the reflection from the screen on the speakers....

IMHO, it depends on the width of the room. You probably don't want them 1' from the walls in a 10' wide room, for example.
