I have the no tracking add-on to FireFox called Privacy Badger, so I don't feel the need for anything further steps. Just checking it right now it shows 5 websites that could possibly be tracking, facebook, 2 from google, and two I've never heard of before. When you click on a link those bots will query FF about where I'm going next, they just don't get an answer. If I used social media I might consider a VPN, like the service that Nick posted. I have a twatter account but haven't posted to it in years. And I dumped my FB account many years ago. I don't feel the need to have a conversation with one of my kids, with the entire world looking over my shoulder! Remember, at FaceBook they are not the product, YOU ARE! Same with all the other SM traps.

Thanks for the tip! If I have 3 laptops at home, does it protect all 3? Does it work at the router level or just at each laptop? I'd love to cover all traffic from the house (including phones, etc..).
