See these? They are unsightly 😂, hearing them? They aren’t particularly special. Were you impressed enough by the T2’s to replace your towers? Hypotheticall question as we all know the answer. Back to the OP, your receiver has plenty of power to drive them. I do not recommend upgrading your power for these unless you’re doing it for future speakers down the road. I saw the T2. I actually didn't think they looked bad - no real problems actually. In the pictures though they didn't look good. That mid range woofer being so much smaller than the baffles really stood out. But in real life their small size really made it seem fine. I actually did consider replacing my speakers with them. They were much smaller than my towers and in my small room that would help things. Easier on my back to adjust. They reached down a good bit lower than my towers did in that large room and they had a holographic mid range and treble. I wasn't able to say that the detail was any worse or better than my speakers. Sometimes the room itself can suck, so perhaps you heard them in that room and were unimpressed. I would put the T2 as right near the top of the best speakers I've heard like top three or four at least. They competed easily with the Tekton Pendragon , the Sonus Faber Sonneto VII, and small set of Thiel 1.6 towers - in the same room! They didn't give up much - if anything at all to them. It imaged better than the Pendragon. It had a more open treble than the Sonneto and went significantly deeper. But the Sonneto had a shade bit more "solidity" in the bass instruments. The T2's also beat the Thiels with a more natural treble. For me their value is off the charts. Awesome Garb! I don’t have experience with the T2’s so aside from the looks I cannot judge them. You are correct about having the right size speakers for your room. Too small or too big presents audible issues for sure!

My avr is a Denon 510bt. It’s rated speaker impedance is 6-16 ohms. At times I think the bass could be a bit tighter and I’m thinking it’s because my avr is not powering them enough? That’s why I started looking at integrated amps like the Emotiva ta-100 since it’s in my price range.

I believe the TA-100 would not provide much more punch than what you have with the Denon. (50WPC). My guess is that the T1's with the low impedance and lowish sensitivity could use a true >100WPC to really get the speakers to stand at attention. There are great bargains out there in used AVR's. For $500 you could get all the features and power you need.

I am running T1s, C1 and E1s, two atmos speakers and a s12 sub through an older Denon AVR x3300w and it sounds great. I got that avr about 18 months ago because it has pre outs. My only regret is it can only handle two atmos speakers but it does sound great as is. That said, I have a A700 on the way to see if it improves the oomph factor. I have seen the replacement denon 3400 for around $600 on sale. Jumping up to the 4400 gives you 4 atmos and a little more power but the price is more.

I'm only doing 2 channel music.

I purchased the TA-100 and I definitely noticed an improvement over my old Denon avr. The Towers have more authority and very punchy. Nice and clean highs. Really happy with the decision.
