I'm currently driving my 2 front HT speakers( yamaha ns-777) with the emo basx-A300 amp. I also have a Nad 2200pe that I bought new in 1987. It's mint, never abused and been hardly used thru the years. Which would be a better amp to use for this application? Btw, a Yamaha rx-a1060 is the brain for my 7.1 set-up.

I think only you would be able to answer that question, try them both and see what you prefer, many come on the lounge here and ask if a certain Emotiva piece of equipment will sound a certain way of mesh good with existing equipment/speakers that they have and with the 30 day trial from Emotiva I always recommend they try it for themselves in their room and their ears Cheers, Chad

LOVED that amp. Probably one of the best "stereo" amps I've ever owned. Had to have some of the caps replaced in the output stages, but it served me well for many years. I actually sold it around 10 years ago for about what I paid for it new. I agree with Chad, try them both and use the one that suits you best...
