I've had the pleasure of hearing and seeing, very up close at a small venue, 2 of these Artists, Ana Popovic and just Sat night, Samantha Fish. I look forward to the next time they're in town.

I've seen Ana, Samantha, Kenny, Mark, and Joe. Samantha certainly is the least of these from a technical guitar perspective. At least with the live shows I've witnessed. I just saw Samantha in September.
Bring vocals in and my answer might change.

We have a nice local venue that brings in some well known people. Last blues musician I saw was James Montgomery and then Samantha Fish; she was great and James always gives you your monies worth! Next up is Ronnie Earl on the 14th. Altou he doesn't have that intense, wind it up swagger he can still make magical music. I would love to see Bonamassa but his ticket prices are sky high.

I agree on the ticket prices for the Bonamassa shows. He's been here twice and I simply refuse to pay almost $200 a ticket to get decent seats. The tickets for Samantha Fish on Sat were only $15. The venue makes most of their money on Bar Sales.

Black Country Communion is the best thing he's ever been part of, but his head is so big he thinks it's all him. He's like Axel Rose is to GnR.

The best blues showman I have ever seen live personally is Buddy Guy. No question, hands down, blows all the rest away.

Out of the ones listed, I'd pick Knopfler. Out of ones not listed, I agree with Bonzo that Buddy Guy is up there for his show. Building on that, I'd have to add Warren Haynes and Derek Trucks. I'd take those 3 over all but Knopfler on the list. Mark
