Does anyone here know if the option to display the current codec on the XMC-1 display is still an option, I can't find it anywhere on my buddies XMC-1 running the latest firmware as we installed the 4K board in his. I'm talking about this display setting here

I'm talking about this display setting here I don't know off the top of my head how to select it but the option is there because I have it working on my XMC. Somewhere in the setup under advanced or preferences I think. It wasn't available with the earlier 4K firmwares but came back in version 5.3 and later.

I scoured that menu and couldn't find anything haha, I'll see him this weekend as he will have my XMC-1 that he's picking up at the border for me so I'll see what firmware he has, pretty sure he has the latest but I could be wrong, he really likes that setting as do I

Updated his XMC to 5.3 and it's all good, we still had the firmware from installing the 4K board, thanks again Geeb Chad

It’s the most “solid” build yet if you’re using the new HDMI 2.0b video board. I’ve been running the beta for the past two weeks and haven’t enjoyed my XMC-1 more since before installing the new 4K board.

Corrected, I get you and Garbulky mixed up all the time hahaha, plus I had a few bevvies last night and it was late and my head was spinning lol Funny thing, I brought my laptop with me to download the update and put it on a flash drive as he isn't very good at that sort of thing, an hour after we did the update to 5.3 I logged onto the forum here and seen Keith's 5.4 firmware thread lol, my buddy and I had a good laugh that we had to do the process all over again haha.
