My current 2 channel listening area is in my bedroom til I am able to get my extra bedroom back and convert to my own mmusi space. Anyway.. I know my acoustics could be improved. I feel the room is kind of "boomy".. and I've read about bass traps.. when I play music I do pull my speakers away from the wall and kind of aim them at me so I kind of get a good triangle. I probly also need things to soften up all the hard reflective features. Ceiling is about 12 feet tall and trayed in the middle so part is about 13 ft or so. The room has wood floors.. no carpet. The King sized bed has sheets and comforters, pillows ets. Two windows across from speakers have roll up bamboo type blinds. All walls are drywall. Attaching a sketch of my setup.. looking for recommendations. One side of bedroom has an opening leading to office and kitchen, other side has double doors leading to bath area. Across from bed is a large dresser and my little Emo. stack sits on top with a TV. Klipsch floorstanding speakers are parked on the side. Yes I usually lay on the end of the bed to listen... Temporary til returning daughter moves out ..
