Hello,
I was working with Tim today from support, he was great! My MC700 is at v2.8.1. I tried 6 different usb drives and earlier versions prior to 2.9.3. I imagine Tim will get back to me tomorrow. Anyone gone through this or have any tips or tricks?

I had to play with some USB's before having success with this usb drive. sandisk sdcz50-016g-b35 16g usb cruzer blade - I should also let you know that I was on a mac and had to find a preformatted fat32 drive.

This has been extremely frustrating for me as well. I managed to update to 2.9.0 at one point, but in trying to install the 2.9.3 update I'm unable to come up with a thumb drive that will be recognized. I've freshly formatted on a PC with FAT32 with no success. While this doesn't prevent me from using the MC-700 it's a frustration every time.

I tryed 2.9.2 thread and a link that dont give the size for the 2.9.3 software then i downloaded from MC700 Firmware thread instead and that was correct size and easy upgrade ? emotivalounge.proboards.com/thread/53400/latest-release-mc-700-firmware |
