Hi, I would like to know if it's possible to run the XSP-1 Gen2 with an amp on XLR main and another amp on XLR subwoofer out using Full Range setting on both. If so, would it be possible to switch amps? I'd like to be able to have two sets of speakers, and choose between the two for playing music.

You can drive up to 4 amps with the XSP-1. Two balanced and two unbalanced. You can choose if you want full range or high/low pass.

thanks for confirming! how does one switch between the amps? if for example I have 2 speakers on one amp and 2 on another amp and I want to play thru only one set at a time?
also, just curious but do you notice a marked improvement in sound using xsp-1 in the chain vs just source->dac->amp->speakers?

All 4 outputs are live. You will need to shut off the amp to the speakers that you don't want to listen to.
I always use a pre
