Xmc with v3 board
Booting up using logitech harmony to watch roku premiere, it never finds hdmi signal to the Roku without having to switch back and forth to hdmi 2, and sometimes that doesnt even work. When i switch back and forth i am always able to hear the roku sounds moving through menus but no video.
Anyone having similar or have had similar issue?
Booting up to hdmi 1 ( directv ) always works, its just the Roku input 2 that fails.
Also having handshake issue when launching netflix shows where screen goes to snow, but i think its unrelated.

I had that issue until I installed a different certified HDMI cable.

I have a similar issue with my Roku Premiere+ and my Fusion 8100 (discontinued Emotiva AVR).
I get the "snow" occasionally (funny, in a way, digital snow? 😆), but more often just the AVR going berserk trying to lock on the Roku signal. It flashes rapidly alternating between the Roku main page and a blue screen.
Only way to avoid this is to turn on the Fusion 8100 first, then the Roku and then the TV.
I only started to have this issue when I upgraded from my old Roku HD to the Roku Premiere+.
The Roku is the only device having issues. I have a HDTV tuner and a BD player on two of the other three HDMI inputs and have no issues, the lock is instantaneous.

And also this just starting happening about 2 weeks ago after months of seamless switching with the occasion roku reboot.

Did you try a different HDMI cable and/or a different input? What about the order in which you turn on the equipment? You have to isolate the issue.
Also, although a bit of a stretch, it could be something in the Roku software. Last year after one of the firmware upgrades my Roku stubbornly wanted to set the video resolution on its own. What I manually selected was not saved and every time I turned it on it went through the the auto selection process manually. I had to contact Roku support and in a week or so they pushed another firmware update which solved the issue.

Replaced all hdmi cables for a 3rd time, reloaded roku firmware. Issue seemingly was resolved for a few days, then last night it happened again.
I know emotiva is on these boards, any word from you folks?

I have been having exactly the same problem. Has anyone figured it out. I purchased new certified cables and a new roku premiere but it still will not work.

I have a ROKU Premier and I have the exact same problem on HDMI1, The RMC-1 plays the ROKU audio but the TV says NO SIGNAL. The ROKU is connected to HDMI1 of the RMC-1, my RMC-1 is set up for video in standby, The Roku is not continuously 'on' all of the time, it is switched on with an ET-3. It does not matter what input the RMC-1 is switched to, as long as I go from HDM1 to something else then back to HDMI1. If I turn the ROKU on by itself with the RMC-1 off, the ROKU audio/video is passed to the TV just like it is supposed to. Glad to know it is not just me. I want to say that started in version 1.3. Thank you!

You are having better luck than I. When I had a Roku 3 on board, switching between inputs and unplugging and restarting the roku would eventually get me connected but it could take 20+ minutes. I purchased a roku Premiere+ and have never, ever been able to get beyond the ROKU title page to the home page. The Roku premiere+ works with other receivers, but never has with the XMC-1. I need to get this resolved before Hockey Season starts again.

Long story shortish, problem got worse, wouldn't allow roku to stream video at all in any setting. emo flashed all modules and got it working in their lab. Sent it back and I had 4k 60 stopped working again, no video across the all streaming services. Swapped all wires, devices, you name it, it just didnt work with any combo of peripherals in my home ( mind you it worked for months and months prior to this ). My fix? Sold it for a Yamaha 5100, been extremely happy ever since. Consolidated most of my gear in fact. I have decided less is more ( and the yamaha sounds and works fantastic and doesnt take 2 minutes to boot up!. )

I have thought about giving up on the XMC-1 but I have an oddly shaped listening environment and Dirac works wonders; well beyond what I have been able to accomplish with Audyssey type of room correction. So I still need to figure this out.
