Mac laptop with latest OS updates Xmc with new v3 board and latest stable firmware.
What happens:
I run the dirac software, all seems well, go to save or download to the xmc, again all seems well ( xmc showing downloading ).
After a few minutes, the xmc just goes back to normal and dirac software closes on my laptop, no confirmation that it worked or finished etc...
No idea if it sent my config. Any thoughts anyone?

No clue, I've had a couple of hang ups where I needed to restart Dirac but no drops like you talk of, I say reset all your network gear and devices(laptop and XMC-1) getting everything with refreshed IP addresses.

It happened to me a few times. My guess is that your are using a MacBook Pro, right? If yes, save your Dirac project after every measurement and also before sending the filters to the XMC-1. If you didn't save the project before sending it to the XMC-1, then you need to start over. With the Dirac project saved, try again sending it to the XMC-1 and on the second attend the XMC-1 will show you that the filters were downloaded successfully.

On Windows 10, I need to run Dirac from an local account with full admin rights.
Have you considered buying a cheap/used Windows PC?

I am on a MBpro, I will give that a shot, thanks
