I'm confused. The link sends me to a Technics product page and not Panasonic.

Stereophile posted a few sentences about the player and posted an image from CES. "Shown in the photo above is the Grand Class SL-G700 Network/SACD player (target price $3500) which processes MQA, and has portals for Tidal, Spotify, and Chromecast as well as balanced outputs."

It is kind of scary to think how high end Technics has gone with their re-launch of products a few years back. They used to be direct competitors for Pioneer, Kenwood, Yamaha, etc. Now they are more up against the NAD, Parasound crowd. I still own several Technics products even though not in use at the moment. They are renowned for huge bang for the buck and I expect the new lines of expanding product will provide very high quality gear. I have always loved their power amps with the lighted meters, a touch of class.
As to LC's previous post, when the Panasonic OLED come ashore that will probably be my first temptation to move into 4k. I am still absolutely thrilled with the picture quality of my 1080P Panasonic plasma sets.

I didn't see that it's Roon Ready. For me, this is one thing that would not make it the "ultimate" audio media machine.
