It looks nice. But it turns me off that this is a USB card slapped on top of a PCI-e slot with a USB to PCI-e intereface in the middle. Why not go direct PCI-e ?

According to them it was because of available low latency drivers. If they had to start from scratch I'm sure this product would be 4x the price. It does bypass the PC's built in USB interface. |
