Hey everyone.
Made some changes to the website to better reflect the closeout vs new low price on some models. Removed the Subs too from the closeout section as well.

Hey everyone. Made some changes to the website to better reflect the closeout vs new low price on some models. Removed the Subs too from the closeout section as well. Okay, that's better. The thing that really got the questioning going was the global e-mail from yesterday. It clearly only said "close out," so everything including the subwoofers were listed as being closed out. I do have to say this, and you won't like it Nick, but, I have to say it. It's just one small dumb example of the bigger picture, which is, "And you wonder why people here are completely losing faith in Emotiva." It's continuous misleading stuff like this that causes completely unnecessary confusion, bad vibes, and head shaking. You get mad at us Bonzomites for calling you out, which you seemingly always take as being negative, but you completely miss our point. It's almost always Emotiva's fault for starting it, for doing things with such confusion. What us Bonzomites hope for is that maybe someday you will start taking our comments as constructive criticism, as they are intended. If you had done that years ago we would not be having these discussions.

That email will be adjusted on the next push to show the difference between the items that are on closeout and the items that have a new price which was not communicated correctly on the first go.

I am so glad I moved on this immediately. I had sold my amps and speakers for this setup. Our home remodel will not be finished till June so that was a close one.

I didn't need a pair of Stealth 8's but I bought a pair of Stealth 8's. Now I have to find a creative way of integrating them. Maybe go in a completely different direction at my desktop?

Stealth 8's for a desktop holy man those are pretty big haha Oh yeah, every time I tried the 8's on my former desk I switched back to the 6's! The back port issues were solvable with moving the 8's a bit further out from the wall but boy did they dominate (physically). I have a larger desk now, and an L-shape, but it's a sit-stand type. Strong enough to do 150 pounds on top but I don't want to push it. Originally I thought I would be able to put the 8's on stands to the side but there just isn't room without compromising something else - and then I'd probably need to be able to raise and lower stands for the 8's, or just use them sitting down. Something or other.
If you put them (or any other capable speakers) on your desk, please strongly consider getting some kind of isolation risers under them - both to decouple them from the desk surface and to raise them to be more ear level. I'm using IsoAcoustic stands.

We had a lot of Stealth 8s and they moved super fast. It had to be in a matter of hours. I literally received the email but couldn’t order at work. So, had to wait until I got home. I went to place an order after I returned home and the Stealth 8 were sold out. I’ve never seen that happen before with equipment unless there were low stock. I was so disappointed for the last couple of days but I keep telling myself it wasn’t meant to be and thinking there is a replacement on the horizon that should be better.

I was looking to order the 4 pairs of airmotiv E1 speakers as my surround and atmos speakers. However, it is now removed/out of stock on Emotiva website.
When I had mailed them, I got a response that it is expected to be restocked by Mid April.
Any idea if that will be restocked at $269 or at the closeout sale price of $169?

When I had mailed them, I got a response that it is expected to be restocked by Mid April. Any idea if that will be restocked at $269 or at the closeout sale price of $169? This restocking most likely represents their last production run before they decided to discontinue the E1. It does take about a month from the time an order leaves the factory (in China) to hit the warehouse shelves in Franklin. I would expect that they will continue to be sold at the “clearance” price and, since this very well may be the last of them, I’d highly recommend getting yours while you can. I had already owned a pair which I use as my “back surrounds” and ordered two additional pairs as soon as they went on clearance. I too will be using them for my atmospheric channels. Since they’re not very big in overall size (or weight) and since the cabinet box itself is only 3” deep, they can be easily recessed if your ceiling height doesn’t accommodate surface mounting them. BTW... if you’re not aware, Dan did mention in the last podcast that they are developing an “Atmos” Airmotiv product. No mention as to whether this will be a “reflective” or ceiling mounted speaker, but it is nice to know that they have an atmospheric solution coming to the Airmotiv product line sometime soon.
