Hi all,
I always see "Digital Pcm 48Khz" when I play any kind of digital stream to either the usb or optical connectors. All streams are originating from two different computers. Even when I play mp3's that are encoded with low sampling rate, the PT-100 always display the same message "Digital Pcm 48Khz".
Can someone tell me if this is a bug or I am missing something here.
Overall, I am very happy with PT-100 but somewhat curious about this behavior of the digital stream display.
Thanks.

use wasapi protocol for bitperfect. windows is resampling otherwise.

You can also change the sample rate settings in windows under sound settings-properties0-advanced. But the sure way to know it's bit perfect is to use wasapi. You can also use ASIO but that's trickier to implement.

Thank you Garbulky. It was indeed the sound settings that set it to 48Khz. Appreciate the pointers. Have a great weekend.
